Q) Is milk ok for dogs to drink?

A) Milk can give dogs diarrhea, becareful on the amount you give them.

Q) I've been told that dogs don't lose many electrolytes and vitamins during exercise. So, does my dog really need K9-Quencher?
A) While water is good, it has its limitations.

Water doesn't have flavor to encourage drinking.

K9-Quencher has a light flavoring, which encourages dogs to drink more, so they fully rehydrate.1

Plain tap water turns off thirst before complete rehydration takes place.2

While it is true that dogs don’t lose a lot of electrolytes during exercise, they do lose some. K9-Quencher has electrolytes, which canine athletes will use to maintain the sodium balance in the blood3 and help to perform at their best.4

Q) I've been told that sugar isn't good for dogs. Is that true?

A) No. Sugar is fine for dogs, as long as it is in moderation. K9-Quencher has a very small amount of dextrose in it. It is used to enhance the flavor.

Q) How many calories are in a half gallon of K9-Quencher?

A) 26 calories. You could consider K9-Quencher a great diet drink. As a dog will drink more of K9-Quencher than plain water, the dog will probably not feel the desires to eat as quickly.

Q) Do sport drinks trigger an exaggerated insulin response during exercise?

A) There is a modest insulin response to sport drinks consumed at rest or during exercise. Insulin release is a natural response to ingestion of carbohydrates.
